Be part of a new programme designed to deliver fundraising, capacity building and training which is bespoke for the heritage and environment sector in Northern Ireland.

If you need support to work better with the private sector, increase the strength of your message or find sources of funding, you are invited to participate in a series of workshops and masterclasses designed just for you.

These vocational workshops will run from November 2014 – June 2015. The November 2014 – December 2014 workshops have been confirmed and can be accessed here.

Dates for the 2015 workshops are to be confirmed.

The entry fee for each workshop is £10 per person.

Business in the Community will be delivering the following series of half–day workshops and masterclasses:

    • Understanding how and why the private sector supports third sector organisations
    • Tips and hints on how to develop relationships with companies
    • Understanding what companies are looking for from sponsorship
    • Maximising your chances of being selected as charity of the year
    • Discovering how to make your message more interesting and relevant to the private sector

Northern Ireland Environment Link is delivering this project in partnership with Business in the Community. It is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund Umbrella Programme – Investing in Northern Ireland’s Heritage.
