SCALE Miniature and Panorama

Ralf Günter Voss is Director of International Projects at Vogt Landscape Architects. Their projects range from the Allianz Arena in Munich and the Laban Dance Academy in London to intimate urban places, all of which embody the company’s philosophy where nature is the subject matter and medium of our daily work.

Vogt Landscape Architect's practical and theoretical approach and consistent consideration of the evolution of design, management and perception of landscape significantly tackle and raise mainstream awareness of the multidimensional issues of scale, otherwise not contemplated in and through the public realm. This is apparent throughout VOGT projects, which encompass the overlapping of natural and technical landscape and detail scale at the Allianz Arena in Munich, the local, global landscape home of FIFA in Zurich, the captured rhythm of the Laban Dance Academy in London, through to intimate urban places of pause, the stewardship of privacy in gardens, the order of life for death in cemetery design and even the dimension of a transient hotel climate all with very evident facilitation of plant growth and human understanding.
